We usually begin our guided tour by flying from Chiang Mai, Thailand to Shanghai, China in the east along the Pacific Ocean. We travel west, city by city, by air, ending in the western end, north of Burma and Bangladesh but east of Tibet.

The limestone islands and cliffs along the ocean and river valleys are so beautiful in the morning mist and fog of southeast China.

We visit Chinese imperial palaces and temples as we work our way west to the buried terra-cotta army of soldiers of imperial China. Only one section is open to the public, the rest of this archeological find is still being excavated and cataloged.

Mountain top fortresses and temples overlook peasants toiling in sweeping river valley rice fields.

Our guided tour, depending on your choice, can also swing a little north to visit the only natural habitat of China's Panda Bears.

In the west, we can also visit the “Three Gorges" dams on the Mekong River before returning either to Chiang Mai, Thailand or travel back home to the USA directly from China.
